Michael Sheen has comically revealed how the moment he broke his toe at a gym led to a surprise meeting with Tom Jones's sister.
The Welsh actor, 55, shared the story during his appearance on the BBC One show The Assembly where he was interviewed by a group of 35 autistic, neurodivergent and learning disabled people.
In one snippet, the multi-award-winning actor and director can be seen revealing to the group how a simple exercise machine at the gym broke his big toe.
He said: 'When I was living in Los Angeles, I broke my toe, my big toe. It was on an exercise machine in a gym.'
He quipped: 'This is why gyms are bad for you.

The Welsh actor shared the story during his appearance on The Assembly where he was interviewed by a group of 35 autistic, neurodivergent and learning disabled people
'So I was on an exercise machine in the gym, you know like erm a cross-trainer, and your feet are on that.
'My foot slipped off the front of the cross-trainer but it kept going around and it crushed my foot.
'Then I went to the foot doctor and I was sitting in this room, and he's you know looking at my foot, and then I hear a voice from across the corridor going "is that Michael Sheen"
The group proceeded to laugh before Michael shockingly revealed 'I said yes... and this voice went I'm Tom Jones's sister.'
It comes after Michael called for Prince Andrew to be taken out of the Royal Family and for Tom Jones to be brought in as he launched an attack against royal 'wrong 'uns' during the BBC interview.
Michael made his comments during his appearance on the show and also went into detail about why he controversially chose to hand back his OBE and why he has a problem with the title of Prince and Princess of Wales.
It was billed as the show where no subjects are out of bounds and no questions are off the table and The Assembly lived up to its word as Michael was asked a wide variety of questions which he answered candidly.
One area Michael was grilled on was his opinion of the Royals - as one of the most vocal critics of the monarchy - and, as a Welshman, their role in Wales.

He revealed that a cross-trainer exercise bike broke his big toe which led him to go see a foot doctor
However, he then dramatically revealed that while he was there, he bumped into Tom Jones's sister
One interviewer asked Michael if he could replace two members of the Royal family who would he replace and with whom.
To which he replied: 'I'd get rid of Andrew and replace him with Joe Lycett and maybe bring David Attenborough instead of Camilla. And I'd make Tom Jones the Prince of Wales.
Michael is set to play Prince Andrew in the upcoming Amazon Prime series 'A Very Royal Scandal' which follows the Prince after his disastrous 2019 interview with journalist Emily Maitlis.
Another interviewer, named Efan, asked Michael why he decided to give back his OBE.
The award-winning actor received his OBE in 2009 for service to drama before handing it back in 2017.
Michael then revealed: 'I was given the OBE which is a great honour. But a few years later I was asked if I would do something called the Raymond Williams Lecture - a history of Wales.
'As I was researching for that I realised that if I was to give this lecture and say the things I was discovering I would be very hypocritical to have something calling me an Officer of the British Empire.'
He added that he has no problem with the honour system but felt he couldn't give the lecture without handing back his OBE.

One interviewer asked Michael if he could replace two members of the Royal family who would he replace and with whom. To which he partially replied with: 'I'd make Tom Jones the Prince of Wales'
Efan then asked Michael what his opinion was of the Royals in general.
Michael paused for a second before adding: 'I was a huge fan of the Queen. I think as individuals there are a few 'wrong uns' and clearly there is a problem.
'I have a bit of a problem with people accumulating so much wealth when we have people sleeping on the street.'
Michael has been vocal in the past about his opposition to the title of Prince of Wales which he brought up during his answer.
He said: 'Personally, with the particular title of the Prince and Princess of Wales there is a history with that title that is problematic.'
It comes after In November 2022, Michael found himself at the centre of a row with Prince William after he criticised the Prince of Wales for handing out shirts to the England squad ahead of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
